Fern Dahlstrom
Fern works full time in curriculum development and project management for a global technology company. She has two beautiful children, Julian and Mira. They share their home with three sweet and funny kitties, Charlie Cheerio Marshmallow (AKA Charlie), Zen Kismet (Zen) and Luna (Lou) Bella Noche.
Fern's family shares a love for animals and especially cats. Her daughter Mira would like to be a veterinarian when she grows up. This is Fern's first book.
Fern was inspired to write A Home for Charlie the night before Charlie was brought home from the shelter and dreamt about writing a book for children. She felt there was an amazing opportunity to educate children and their parents or care-givers on what life can be like when pets do not have a home to live in. Fern hopes to increase awareness and sensitivity to pets needing homes all over the US and abroad through Charlie's story. So many amazing and dedicated volunteers work tirelessly each day to place sweet, loving animals with special humans.
A portion of the proceeds from this book will be donated to shelters and rescue groups across the US.
